Description
Beef Tenderloin, also known as Filet Mignon, is arguably the most tender steak that money can buy. Cut from the beef loin section, this is a muscle that does almost no work on the animal, which is what causes it to be so tender. Although tenderloin is often regarded as a leaner cut of beef, you will always find enough marbling in ours to prevent them from drying out.
Cooking Tips:
Season generously with salt and pepper and sear in a cast iron pan or on high heat on your bbq for 1-2 minutes per side at high heat for rare, 2-3 minutes per side at medium for medium rare.
